Sister steals sibling's credit card and charges $6,000 for all-inclusive resort in Aruba, she gets caught and states sibling "owes her" for watching her dog a couple of times, sibling says: 'They arrested her the next day'

How many nights would you have to watch someone's dog to afford a flight for two adults, three kids, and an all-inclusive resort in Aruba? Apparently, around 10 times. That would make each night $600, and if that's the case, where do we sign up?

Families are complicated, to say the least. Even healthy ones have their own spats every once in a while. It can be a maze of carefully-concocted conversations where every turn could reveal a twist, a new peril, or it could be a relaxing walk in the park. Family dynamics, in our opinion, come mainly from the communication styles we learned from our parents. If you saw your parents avoiding arguments, you're likely to stuff all those emotions away and let them out elsewhere. Similarly, if you saw your parents openly getting into screaming matches, you're probably going to do that as well.

But no family should ever steal from each other, no matter what kind of communication they have. Let alone stealing $6,000 to pay for an all-inclusive resort in Aruba with your husband and three kids, like the sister did below. She claimed that she was "owed" the money for watching her dog multiple times throughout the year, but even if they watched the dog twenty times, there's no way they could justify taking that amount of money. They got caught, showed no remorse, so her sibling got the police involved. She was charged with a felony and arrested.

Whether the sibling did the right thing or not is up to you, but this is a situation that can break a family for good. Maybe it was a long time coming. It sounds like they didn't have that healthy of a realtionship anyway. But either way, we wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now.

The thought that one of our family members would steal one of our credit cards never even crossed our minds. Why not ask first? There's always a chance that they would say yes. But, if they don't feel comfortable asking for it, then they certainly wouldn't have a problem stealing it. We're going to guess that they weren't that good of sisters to begin with.

If we're being honest with you, we don't know if we could actually go through with it. We don't know if we could press charges against our own sister, even if she stole from us. It's essentially a breakup - no one ever talks about how hard it is for the person breaking up with the other, but it's usually difficult for them as well. That's the way it has always been from our experience, anyway.
